as i told you by email, when you have some $ to spend towards the windshield, then I’ll help with that (like half). I think you can get some of the other items for less elsewhere…..Yahama dealerships like their mark up profits.

Yeah…I ended up picking up some leather gloves and sunglasses at the swap meet this weekend for a total of $17. I even got a hot dog and potato wedges combo (with a soft drink) for $4.25–and it was a Hebrew National (R) hot dog!
Now I just need boots, a leather coat, and the windshield. I’ve been watching amazon and ebay.
I went kinda nuts with stuff:
1. Headlight modulator $127
2. Helmet $320
3. Saddlebag (cheep stuff) set $60
4. White leather jacket $290
5. Gloves $2.50 at a garage sale
you spent $320 on a helmet?!? whoa.
in other news, the damned motorcycle safety course in California (the “progressive” state) costs $235. Ugh.
I took my first riding test this morning and failed. I’m gonna go back to the DMV and practice a couple of times before trying it out again…
