Eureka Literary Magazine’s 1st Annual Certificate Program in Short Fiction Writing

Saturday, June 4, 11, 18 & 25
9:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.

Eureka Literary Magazine is pleased to announce its First Annual Certificate Program in Short Fiction Writing, to be offered in June 2005 at Eureka College in Eureka, IL. The program consists of 24 hours of intensive instruction, writing practice and workshop over four consecutive Saturdays. Participants will have the opportunity to work with other writers of short fiction as well as the editor of ELM. At the end of the program, participants will receive a certificate of completion and the chance to enter their short story in ELM’s 1st Annual Short Fiction Contest. This contest is open only to program participants. The winning entry from the summer program is guaranteed publication in the Fall 2005 issue of ELM, though additional entries may be considered as well.

Meet other authors, sharpen your writing skills, and get published!

Workshop fee is $395 for four all-day writing workshops, and includes lunch, reference materials and writing kit.

The Eureka Literary Magazine Certificate Program in Short Fiction Writing is open to unpublished and published authors of short fiction in any genre. Participants may choose to bring a work already written or in progress, or create new material during the course of the workshop.
