The flakes fall, large and overpowering
unexpectedly
a little black kitten named Schnee, German for snow,
peaks out the window, baffled by the blankets covering the area where he usually plays.
He hesitates, momentarily intimidated,
but just as quickly he is out the window, running and rolling.
