Pop Bunker

Seeing as how I’ve been really hard-pressed to find a place to express myself online, particularly in the form of blog posts… oh, wait, I guess I could’ve been using this blog all along! Anyway, I recently heard about an opportunity to write for a group blog called Pop Bunker, and so I went ahead and tossed my name in the hat. I got picked! So you can look forward to seeing posts from me over there soon.

In past weeks, I think I’ve been overcompensating for all that time in school by constantly going and hanging out with friends pretty much every night of the week. To the point of exhaustion. (With maybe a touch of misanthropy.) But in spite of the fact that I’ve continued to make myself feel as though I don’t have nearly as much free time as I would like, I continue to look for ways to fill that time.

  • Aforementioned blogging spot on popbunker.
  • Volunteer tutoring at a nearby middle school.
  • Reviewing another book for The Front Table (see my earlier book review here).
  • Trying to land a part-time gig teaching composition for an online educational institution.

I guess all of that is to say: I hate free time. That, and making time to write fiction.

I’ll leave you with a picture of my completed, bound thesis project. You can download it here: Theories of Displacement.
