Relatively Speaking

It’s the worst I’ve ever been through,
But I’m not through it yet.
Though I feel the presence true,
I see it as a threat.
The road traveled by so few
Is lost to new regret.
I sense a feeling new,
And all I do is fret.
I know I truly know you,
Although we’ve never met.
Eyes of such a low hue,
And your caste is surely set.
Relatively speaking, you truly are perfect.
