I dropped my bicycle off with my landlord the other day to have him put a rack on, in case I go ahead and buy the Oxford Complete Shakespeare that I’m supposed to have for my shakespeare class. no way that monster is going to ride in my bookbag! anyway, he pressured me into buying fenders, too. I picked up the bike, and it’s looking friggin sweet! I think he tweaked things here and there, too, including the seat height. well, the man knows his bikes. I rode it up to the coffeeshop and it’s never been quite the smooth ride that it was tonight. now I’m gonna rock that bitch up and down the streets of c-u, pickin’ up hookers and whatnot. I can’t wait 🙂
also, an update on the foreign language situation: I might be able to take an intensive second-year russian course first semester next year, which would allow me to graduate in december! let’s cross our fingers, everyone! I mean, I’m not in any big hurry to get anywhere, it’d just be nice to have some time to just work and save some money. and start thinking about grad school applications. we’ll see.
anyway….working on a new story tonight. I’m kinda likin’ where it’s going…it’s one of those stories that took on a life of it’s own after I cranked out a few paragraphs. I’m really interested in seeing where it goes. and you should be, too.
more anon.
Have you taken it off any sweet jumps yet?
